May is an exciting time with so much happening for our kiddos. School is out which means there are graduations of all types, sizes and degrees from pre-K to doctorates. I have a niece graduating from the private college San Diego University (Toreros) and this is her graduation card. It's a gate fold with a surprise.....you know that universal gift card of the green stuff.
The stars help keep it closed and I used them to accentuate the "GRAD" . The school's pantone colors matched our Night of Navy, Pacific Point and Whisper White. It was fun joining these colors as I would have never put them together otherwise.
As you can see from the inside of the card there is a pocket in the middle to hold either a gift card, cash or check. The sides is where I will do the writing. I did all the stamping using Pacific Point Ink. I like how it turned out and I want to wish all the grads "Good Luck" as they all continue on to the next phases of their lives and careers.
