This months blog hop challenge for was masculine cards and with Father's Day being this weekend I decided to do a card for my Harold. He is a hunter and a couple of year's ago he treated himself to a guided elk hunt. Every time I see the elk in this set "The Wilderness Awaits" I think of him and his great adventure. I don't know if you can tell or not, but I decided to try what seems to be the latest fad in making the focal points multi-dimensional. Using our new and wonderful (can't live without) Square Layer Dies I gave it a shot. Our dimensionals work great for stacking to create the multi-dimensional affect.
And we cann't forget the inside of the card. I thought the saying that comes in this set was very appropriate for my Harold and then added the Happy Father's Day from the "Guy Greetings Set." There was a little ink left on the stamp so I ghost stamped the head of the elk on the bottom of the inside. You don't ever want to leave your inside blank (unless intentional). It needs love, care and attention also. After all, this is where you sign your name and write your little note. Besides, it's more STAMPING!!!!
I hope you have enjoyed my creation and we would love for you to play along with us. You can upload your card at the Nacho Site by Clicking HERE and check out with the other design team members have created by clicking on their names here:
Have a great Father's Day weekend for those of you celebrating that day and if not have an awesome weekend celebrating "The Weekend."
Happy stamping and until next time........................we are changing our format so make sure you check back next month. Stamp, Play and Be Happy.
